About

Hi. Thank you for taking time to read this. My name is Shea Daniel-Youngblood and I am a painter living in San Antonio, Texas. I got my first set of oil paints when I was 18 and an art degree from (Southwest) Texas State University a while later. Off and on the easel since then, I started painting regularly in 2016--jumpstarting the journey with a plein air class led by Maren Phillips. I just wanted to be a better painter and that is still my primary goal and focus. I like to travel around the region, stopping anywhere I feel pulled by a moment, or a shadow, or a stoplight.

If you have a favorite street corner, house, restaurant, home or the like, please consider allowing me to paint it for you!
